Apprentices are required to:
- Attend a Mandatory Apprentice Orientation/Safety Course in June, July or August. Apprentices will be notified of the date by mail.
- Purchase Cement Mason Curriculum.
- Wear appropriate clothing to each class. Tank tops, shorts, open-toed and sport shoes are prohibited.
- Bring hard hats and safety glasses to each class.
- Bring all required tools to each class.
- Bring classroom materials (texts, pen/pencil, etc.) to each class.
- Bring work record books to each class for review.
Apprentices not prepared and/or unable to participate in related training classes will be sent home, receive an unexcused absence for the day and be cited to appear before the appropriate Sub-JATC.
